A rarely encountered Mid 19th Century Antique English Victorian Staffordshire Pottery Royal Portrait Figure of "Queen Victoria" ~ P A50. Seated, wearing a high double-arched crown and full-length dress, she bears a sceptre in her right hand, while at her feet are a lion and a unicorn, the traditional supporters of the Royal Arms. This figure, catalogued by Pugh, { Staffordshire Portrait Figures of the Victorian Era }, does not appear to be listed by Harding, { Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835 - 1875 }, who does however illustrate what quite clearly would appear to be it's pair, { Fig. 796 ~ Page 63 ~ Second Addendum }. For reference purposes and for the sake of clarity, we have therefore taken the liberty of here assigning that number which we believe the authors would utilise in cataloguing this figure. ie. H 797.
