A good, Second Period, Early 20th Century Antique English W.H. Goss Porcelain Royal Commemorative Model of the Norwich Urn, bearing the cipher of King George V and Queen Mary, the scroll reading, "GEORGE V.D.G. BRITT. OMN. REX F.D. IND. IMP. CROWNED 22 JUNE 1911. the reverse inscribed "MODEL OF THE NORWICH URN FROM THE ORIGINAL IN THE MUSEUM". The base fully marked in black with the Goshawk above W.H. GOSS, together with the Rd. No. 573577 for 1911, the year of their coronation, which event this piece clearly was produced to commemorate. Catalogued as Model No. 213 in the A.C.C.'s "Price Guide to the Models of W.H. Goss", by Roland Ward, published in 1975.
