The wintry sunset scene here depicted, one of three similar examples presently available, superbly painted with a flock of sheep making their way through the snow at the edge of a village, the piece offering the perfect introduction to the works of this talented Staffordshire artist, examples of whose work may now be viewed at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery.
