This attractive Mid / Late 20th Century Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Affection" ~ HN 2236, was designed by leading Doulton artist Margaret "Peggy" Davies and was issued from 1962 to 1994. Decorated in a purple colourway, the base with Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period in green, plus title, Affection, HN 2236, COPR 1964, DOULTON AND CO. LIMITED, Rd. No. 900843, Rd. No. 41652, Rd. No. 8803, Rd. No. 43/61, and in script, the Painter's Monogram, JP, unidentified.
