This attractive Late 20th Century Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Mary" ~ HN 2374, was designed by leading Doulton artist John Bromley and issued as one of the Vanity Fair Ladies series from 1984 to 1986. Catalogued by Charlton as issued only in white, this Different Colourway piece, attractively decorated in green and lavender would thus appear probably to be unique. The underside fully marked in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period, HN 2374, MARY, Modelled by J. Bromley, { facsimile signature }, © ROYAL DOULTON TABLEWARE LIMITED 1983, plus unidentified Painter's Monogram in red.
