Fully marked on the underside in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period and the title, "Mary Jane.", COPR. 1946., DOULTON & CO. LIMITED., Rd. No. 846728., { for 1946 }, Rd. No. 23895., Rd. No. 120/46., indistinct impressed Model Number, plus in green script, HN 1990 and the Painter's Monogram, HB for Harry Betteley, recorded as working at Doulton Circa 1946 to 1976.
