The body of seamed construction, the front with repoussé decoration, some dings to the one side as shown in our Image No. 2, ~ Simple pull-off cover ~ The underside stamped with the Maker's Mark, which is a variant of that to be found illustrated at Vin Callcut's excellent website, www.oldcopper.org, to whom we extend our grateful acknowledgement and thanks. This piece is covered in a soft tobacco coloured patina which, looking attractive as it is, has decided us against polishing on this occasion.
