A quite delightful Early 20th Century Vintage Henriot Quimper French Faience Bonboniere and Cover of circular form, the cover naively painted with a floral spray and with a Petite Bretonne seated with her basket facing to the right, holding a single blossom, the sides attractively decorated with four simple floral sprays. Both figural and floral decoration in bas-relief, a rather unusual feature to be found on Quimper of this period. The base and underside of the cover signed HenRiot QuiMPER 25 in underglaze blue.
