A good Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Blue and White Transfer Indented Pottery Plate, printed in a medium blue palette in "The Cowman" pattern, unmarked, but attributed to John and William Ridgway of Shelton, Hanley, Staffordshire. The scene shows a cow in the foreground with a man standing just behind a bank on the right under a tree. On the left is a small thatched cottage among trees. The reverse with impressed numeral 6 and clear stilt marks.
