A most attractive Late 18th Century Antique English Georgian Copper Pot of seamed construction, with sparrow-beak lip and turned fruitwood side handle, almost certainly intended for use as a chocolate, rather than a coffee pot. This would originally have had a press-on cover with a central hole made to accommodate the hardwood paddle with which such pots were necessarily equipped, the contents requiring regular stirring as the chocolate settled so fast.
