Description

A most attractive Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Ironstone Indented Rectangular Dish by G.M. & C.J. Mason of Lane Delph, Staffordshire { 1813 - 1829 }. Decorated in a typical Imari palette of cobalt blue and iron red with an overall design of peonies and Japanese Mon symbols, the whole upon a white ground. The reverse bearing the impressed straight line Maker's Mark of the period, viz. :- MASONS PATENT IRONSTONE CHINA. { As used by the pottery, 1813 - 1825 ~ Godden ~ Mark No. 2539 }.

Height ~ 19.00 cm. / 7.50 inches ~ Width ~ 25.50 cm. / 10.00 inches ~ Depth ~ 1.50 cm. / 0.62 inches ~ Year ~ Circa 1820.
