An amusing and colourful Late 18th Century Antique English Georgian Pearlware Jug / Pitcher of pint capacity, the naive polychrome decoration gaily painted, one panel depicting an avian confrontation, another, a family of ducks sitting down to dinner, the two scenes perhaps intended to illustrate the contrast between nature and domesticity, the third panel painted with a view of an old manor house. Lovely soft colours. No Makers Mark, but the base with a small impressed circle.
