A most attractive Late 18th Century Antique English Georgian Pearlware Jug / Pitcher of pint capacity, with fluted rim and sparrow-beak spout, the naive polychrome decoration gaily painted with assorted flowers and depicting a cottager resting on his spade from his toils, while his wife appears to be engaged in milking the animals that stand patiently in the background. Lovely soft colours complemented by pink lustre highlighting. No Makers Mark, but the base with an indistinct Potter's or Painter's mark.
