A scarce Late 18th Century Antique English Pewter Dish of small size, almost certainly an ecclesiastical paten, used for holding the bread during the Eucharist and sometimes as a cover for the chalice. Fine condition with plain folded edge, attractive colour, the reverse with a good set of barely legible hallmarks including the Maker I.H. and the Griffin's head.
