A good Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Pewter Pint Mug of "Tulip" form by Watts & Harton of 61 Shoe Lane, London, { c. 1810 - 1860 }, Cotterell O.P. 4996, the body stamped WATTS & HARTON PINT and engraved with what appears to be a foliate letter N, presumably the initial of the original owner. Although the Watts family were engaged in the manufacture of pewter goods from 1749, their marked pieces turn up infrequently these days, this example, with a fine scroll handle, simply oozing period charm.
