A good Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Pottery Toby Jug, the heavily potted body of typical form. Toby Fillpot, wearing blue coat, white vest, plum breeches, pale blue stockings and black shoes, sits rather stolidly upon a lined, and somewhat stained, octagonal base, grasping his foaming pot in one hand, his clay pipe in the other. Unmarked, although there does faintly appear what may be a moulded shell or crown device beneath the handle.
