Another stunning piece to appeal to the professional Interior Designer / Decorator. This large and imposing Antique English Oil Lamp clearly began life early in the 19th Century, the superb, finely cast and chased Antique Georgian brass column exhibiting all of the classic hallmarks of Regency design and craftsmanship. The central threaded rod now replaced, the piece is here offered complete with a fine Mid to Late 19th Century Antique Victorian florally moulded pink and cranberry tinged font, together with a good clean burner, each wick winder button marked DUPLEX, and a really lovely etched cranberry glass shade of the period, scallopped, frilled, and altogether of most unusual form. Replacement clear glass chimney as one would expect.
