A large and decorative Late 19th Century Antique English Victorian Brass Banqueting Oil Lamp, this one of rather ornate design, and exuding a somewhat "Gothic" air. The spiral column rising from a well proportioned foot mounted upon a square base, the fine ribbed cranberry glass font with good clean brass burner, the wick winder buttons each bearing a "Sun" device, the whole surmounted by a really lovely waisted and ruffled cranberry glass shade of the period, delicately etched with flowers and foliage, with replacement clear glass chimney as one would expect.
