A fine and imposing Late 19th Century Antique English Victorian Brass Oil Lamp of most unusual form, the well drawn reeded column rising from an elaborate foliate base which incorporates the extremely rare feature of three "pied de biche" or cloven hoof feet. The attractively moulded pink font with good clean burner in full working order, the two wick winders each marked with a sunburst and the legend BRITISH MADE. The whole ensemble complemented by a well matched period shade of globular form, florally etched in a design of passion flowers. Replacement clear glass chimney, as one would expect. A choice item for the discerning Interior Designer / Decorator.
