A good Mid 19th Century Antique English Victorian Copper Harvest Measure of One Gallon capacity. Of brazed, seamed construction, this piece could very well date from earlier in the century. However, the only Excise Stamp which it bears is unfortunately illegible, and as such measures were produced over a long period, we have chosen to err on the side of caution when cataloguing this one. The body stamped 1 GALLON, the collar with indistinct Excise Stamp.
