The fine cast brass column of this tall and most attractive Antique English Victorian Cranberry Glass Oil Lamp almost certainly started out in life as an altar candlestick and has subsequently been rewarded for it's piety by the granting of a new lease of life in it's present form, the central internal supporting rod having been replaced during restoration. The large superb quality cranberry glass font, with good clean brass burner, surmounted by a lovely cranberry glass shade of the period, delicately etched with a stylised floral design, replacement clear glass chimney as one would expect.
