An unusual Late 19th Century Antique English Victorian Oil Lamp, by H. and G.O. Lewtas of Cornbrook Lamp Works, Manchester. The pewter column with it's copper mounts showing distinct "Arts and Crafts" influence, the fine quality cut glass font with overall thumb-cut decoration, the copper burner in good order, the wick winder buttons marked NATIONAL LAMP WORKS and LEWTAS ENGLISH MAKE. Complemented here by a well matched early 20th Century frosted glass shade decorated with swirling arabesques in the Art Nouveau manner. Replacement chimney as one would expect. An excellent piece for the discerning Interior Decorator.
