Description

A scarce Early 19th Century Antique English Victorian Pewter Gill Measure, of good colour and of a form described by Cotterell as "West Country Type". The body stamped with a set of three Maker's Marks, viz :- TC, what appears to be a horse rampant, and xxx over X, which Maker we have, unfortunately, been unable to identify at this point. The piece bears no Weights and Measures Inspector's Stamp.

Height ~ 7.60 cm. / 3.00 inches ~ Width ~ 7.00 cm. / 2.75 inches ~ Depth to include handle ~ 8.90 cm. / 3.50 inches ~ Year ~ Circa 1840.
