A rarely encountered Late 19th Century Antique English Victorian Porcelain Figurine of the famous American gospel singer and composer, Ira David Sankey, { 1840 - 1908 }, who toured England in the company of fellow American Evangelist, Dwight Lyman Moody, { 1837 - 1899 }, in 1873, 1881 and 1882, and whose "Sacred Songs and Solos", translated into many languages, sold over 50 million copies. The figure dressed in clerical black, the white socle base titled in black script, viz. Mr Sankey. Unmarked.
