A very fine quality Late 18th Century Antique Georgian Brass and Wrought Iron Footman, probably Welsh. The brass top attractively pierced with hearts and florets, mounted upon a well proportioned wrought iron base with attractive undertier and supported by four finely scrolled cabriole legs of classic form. The heavy gauge metal of good colour and with a superb patina. The perfect period piece to stand beside your favourite fireplace.
