An attractive Pair of Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Blue and White Transfer Pottery Plates by John Davenport of Longport, { 1785 - c. 1835 }, printed in a medium blue palette with the "Chinese Pastime" pattern. The reverse fully marked with the blue printed DAVENPORT mark below a floral cartouche within which is the printed script title Chinese Pastime. Above this , the impressed mark, { Lockett No. 4 } as used from c. 1830 to c. 1860.
