A really lovely Late 19th / Early 20th Century Antique Porcelain Oil Lamp, this one made in Germany, probably in Saxony, around the turn of the century. This tall and rather feminine lamp with its overall piercing and floral decoration is just perfect for a ladies boudoir. With integral font, the base with Maker's mark in underglaze blue, viz. T over X, this above Germany in script, simple brass burner, with wick winders in working order, their buttons marked M I interlaced. Offered here with a choice of etched octagonal antique glass shades of the period. Replacement 20th Century clear glass chimney as one would expect.
