This lovely Late 19th Century Antique Japanese Meiji Period Imari Porcelain Bowl would originally have had a cover and comes with a faint star hairline to the underside. With overall exterior decoration in a traditional Imari palette of Iron Red, Cobalt Blue and Green heightened with gilding it remains a most attractive and useful display piece, ideal for fruit, nuts or flowers. The base with unidentified underglaze blue Maker's mark.
