A most attractive Late 19th Century Antique Quimper French Faience Dish. Naively painted in a traditional palette with a figure of a Petite Bretonne, standing, facing to the right amidst demi-fantaisie holding her posy of flowers, the whole within a border of couronnes. The title, clearly refers to Pornic on the Jade Coast, a much-loved seaside resort in Loire-Atlantique, which has the look and feel of Brittany, of which it used to be part until the 1960's. Unmarked, as was much Quimper faience.
