This lovely Mid 19th Century Antique Victorian Gaudy Welsh Sucrier decorated in a traditional palette in "Tricorn / Powys" pattern, has, we believe lost its original lid and must thus be considered a "marriage". We suspect that the present lid, which in our opinion, not only sits well but looks absolutely fine, probably began life on a teapot. Unmarked ~ Ex A. & P. Todd Collection.
