A good Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian "Granite China" Jug by Charles James Mason & Co. of Lane Delph, Staffordshire. The body decorated with a chinoiserie scene principally in iron red and cobalt blue enamels, the base with blue printed Maker's Mark, viz. "FENTON STONE WORKS", this within an octagonal cartouche, with the pattern No. 311 below. This mark, { Godden ~ Mark No. 2541 } was used by Mason's from circa 1825.
