A scarce Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Blue and White Transfer Pottery Cauldron, with two small handles and standing upon three stub feet, a shape not often encountered in today's marketplace. This one printed in the "Pratt's Native Scenery" pattern, by F. & R. Pratt of Fenton, Staffordshire { c. 1818 - }, the design copied by them from William Adams "Native" pattern. The base with blue printed title, viz. Pratt's Native Scenery within a beaded octagonal cartouche, this plus a faint impressed upper case mark which appears to read "WARDLE", this perhaps a Retailer's mark.
