A most attractive Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Blue and White Transfer Pottery Soup Plate, printed in a sparkling, medium blue palette with a view of "Boston State House", by John Rogers & Son of Dale Hall, Longport, Staffordshire, { 1814 - 1836 }. Believed to be one of only two American views produced by this pottery, the other depicting a reputed distant view of Boston Harbour, the reverse of this piece bears the impressed Maker's Mark, ROGERS.
