A good Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Blue and White Transfer Indented Pottery Plate by Brameld & Co. of Swinton Old Pottery, Rotherham { 1806 - 26 }, printed in a medium blue palette in the "Castle of Rochefort ~ South of France" pattern. The couple of minor glaze imperfections more than compensated for by the fine set of marks to the reverse, comprising the impressed Maker's mark, Brameld, within a small cartouche, and the only occasionally to be encountered printed title "Castle of Rochefort ~ South of France", this latter within a distinctive reserve.
