A good Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Blue and White Serving Dish / Platter, printed in a medium blue palette in the "Gothic Ruins" pattern, unmarked, the Maker remaining as yet unidentified. The rather stormy scene of a gothic ruin towering over a river and bridge is surveyed by two mounted horsemen, evoking perhaps thoughts of the works of Byron, Shelley and the Romantic Poets.
