A very fine Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian eight sided, Blue and White Transfer Indented Pottery Serving Dish / Platter in the "Parkland Scenery" pattern, tentatively attributed by Coysh { Blue Printed Earthenware 1800 - 1850 }, to Chetham and Robinson of Longton, Staffordshire { 1822-1837 }. This sparkling piece is in absolutely mint condition and is clearly marked on the reverse with the Maker's Mark, the initials C. & R. within a Staffordshire knot, in underglaze blue, one of the earliest known of ceramic marks with the Staffordshire knot, which was not common until the 1840's.
