A good, Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Blue and White Transfer Dished Octagonal Plate by Brameld & Co. of Swinton Old Pottery, Rotherham, { 1806 - 1826 }, printed in a medium blue palette in the "Woodman" pattern. The scene depicting a Woodman returning to his cottage and being greeted by his child whilst the Mother is seated outside with her spinning wheel. The narrow printed border giving the impression of scrolled gadrooning, the underside with impressed Maker's mark, BRAMELD44.
