A fine and rare Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Blue and White Transfer Pottery Plate from the "Rural Scenes" series by John Davenport of Longport, Staffordshire. This particular view is unrecorded in Coysh and Henrywood's "Dictionary of Blue and White Printed Pottery 1780 - 1880". Some very slight staining, Impressed Maker's Mark and old Collector's sticker to underside.
