A colourful Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian "Opaque China" Jug with mask spout by Mayer and Newbold of Lane End, Staffordshire, { c.1817 - 1833 }. The transfer printed chinoiserie decoration "clobbered" with polychrome enamels, the base with underglaze blue Maker's Mark, viz. Opaque China M & N, within an oval star cartouche.
