Description

A lovely Early 19th Century Antique English Porcelain Dessert Dish by Josiah Spode of Stoke, Staffordshire, decorated in sparkling colours with the Imari pattern No. 2375 and heightened with gilding. The footrim pierced for hanging, the reverse with hand-written Maker's Mark and pattern number in red, "SPODE 2375", together with Potter's mark, this the astrological sign for Mars.

Width ~ 20.75 cm. / 8.15 inches ~ Depth ~ 3.80 cm. / 1.50 inches ~ Year ~ Circa 1810.
