Goss Model of the Abergavenny Ancient Jar, bearing the arms of Viscount Downe "Driffield", the base inscribed, "MODEL OF ANCIENT JAR FOUND AT ABERGAVENNY Rd. No. 633432", and fully marked in black with the Goshawk. Catalogued as Model No. 2 in the A.C.C.'s "Price Guide to the Models of W.H. Goss", by Roland Ward, published in 1975.
