An attractive First Period Late 19th Century Antique English Victorian W.H. Goss Porcelain Model of the Elizabethan Jug, bearing a trio of Welsh devices, the underside inscribed, "WELSH ANTIQUITIES : THE ELIZABETHAN JUG", and fully marked in black with the Goshawk. Catalogued as Model No. 106 in the A.C.C.'s "Price Guide to the Models of W.H. Goss", by Roland Ward, published in 1975, where the author describes it as "one of the earliest of models, the production of which was thought to have been discontinued before 1900". N.B.
