A scarce Pair of Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Telescopic Brass Candlesticks in fine condition, retaining their original internal push-ejector rods and buttons, each marked on the underside of the base, "J.T. & Co." for John Turner & Co. of Birmingham. Ronald Michaelis, in his "Old Domestic Base Metal Candlesticks", suggests that perhaps only one pair in a thousand brass candlesticks carries a Maker's Mark, thus making this pair all the more desirable.
