A lovely old Pair of Late 19th Century Antique English Victorian Ruby Glass Lustres of fine quality. Their well drawn columns rising from round bases, the bodies with attractively enamelled decoration complemented by fine gilding, crenelated tops, and two rows of slender, well-cut spears. Rather surprisingly, given that they would appear clearly to have gone through life together, the one lustre, { on which the gilding is somewhat rubbed } is heavier than the other.
