This lovely old Pair of Antique French Porcelain Vases are unmarked, but were, we believe, produced in Paris during the latter half of the nineteenth century. The body of each vase beautifully decorated overall with bouquets of summer flowers reserved upon a white ground above a rose pompadour foot , this with complementary border to each rim, the whole heightened with now softly rubbed gilding. The interior of one vase with faint old star hairlines which however do not detract in any way from the beauty of this fine old pair. The underside of each foot with Painter's monogram in red, which may be read either as S or as 5.
