A fine and scarce Pair of Early 20th Century Antique HR Quimper French Faience Menu Holders, each painted in a typical Quimper palette. The one decorated with a Petit Breton, playing his pipe as he stands, below a sprig of demi-fantaisie; the other with his Petite Bretonne partner, again standing beneath a demi-fantaisie garland, holding a posy, her basket upon her arm. Each piece fully signed upon the reverse, HR Quimper, the HR conjoined above Quimper in script.
