This lovely Pair of Late 20th Century English Porcelain Vases in the "Persian" taste, are rather reminiscent of Royal Worcester, the one hand-painted by the artist with large yellow roses, the other with orchids, they bear all of the hallmarks of Reg Johnson's multi-faceted talent, not only as designer, but also as painter. Superbly painted and gilded, each piece offers the perfect introduction to the works of this talented Staffordshire artist, examples of whose work may now be viewed at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery.
