A fine and scarce Pair of Late 19th Century Antique English Victorian Brass Door Porters / Doorstops by William Tonks and Sons of Moseley Street, Birmingham { Founded Circa 1789 }, the brass foot of each piece stamped on the inside, ie. behind the removeable iron shoe, with the Maker's name, W.T. & S., together with a Diamond Registration Mark indicating that the design was registered in April 1883, this above a Sun device.
