Quite delightful ! This Pair of Mid 19th Century Antique English Victorian Brass "Lion and Unicorn" Chimney Ornaments, symbols of Britain's imperial majesty, would have adorned the mantelshelf of some patriotic cottager's home. Having now lost their original plinths, the Unicorn at least, for all his magical powers now needs a shoulder to lean upon in order to maintain his balance.
