A fine and decorative Pair of Mid 19th Century Antique English Victorian Staffordshire Pottery Figures of a Scottish Shepherd and Shepherdess, H 1966 / H 1967. Standing upon rockwork bases, upon each of which lies a pair of sheep, both figures wear traditional dress, he a plumed hat, tunic, kilt with sporran, and socks, and holding a crook in his left hand, she a plumed hat, bodice and long dress. Both wear sashes over the left shoulder and across their bodies , and each carries a pigskin water bottle.
